Soy Frau López,
I am Mexican, in love with my roots and the culinary and gastronomic culture of Mexico.
I grew up in my grandmother’s kitchen in Guasave, Sinaloa. From her I learned that cooking is an expression of love, art and culture, a direct connection to our family and heritage.
Over time I had the fortune of being part of the ESGAMEX family ( Escuela de Gastronomia Mexicana) where I learned from one of the best chefs in Mexico, the great master Yuri de Gortari.
Traditional Mexican cuisine is my specialty, my passion and I want to share it with the whole world.
A country’s identity is being maintained by sharing the best of its culture, roots and traditions. Since 2010 Mexican cuisine is part os UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Yet another reason for everyone to get to know, recreate and enjoy our delicious dishes.
